Özgür Özel addressed Erdoğan at the 100th day rally: “You will be defeated by a passport photo of İmamoğlu”

After İmamoğlu's message was read, citizens chanted slogans such as "Tayyip will go, Ekrem will come."
İmamoğlu's wife Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu also addressed the citizens. Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu said, “Today has been exactly 100 days, my beloved husband Ekrem İmamoğlu has been under arrest for 100 days. My children have been separated from their father for 100 days. Ekrem is in a dungeon between four walls, away from his family, parents, and loved ones. He has never been away from us this long. His longing for you is getting heavier every passing day. They detained Ekrem in our house at dawn. As a wife and a mother, I can never forget the morning of March 19. I can never forget what we have been through for 100 days. There is something else I will never forget. I will never forget your support, the struggle of the youth, the voices of those who oppose injustice.”
Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu spoke as follows:
“The hope and future of Türkiye lies in this struggle. With this disgraceful operation, Ekrem and his companions are not being tried, they are being punished. For 100 days, an unlawful process has been carried out without an indictment, without evidence, and based on lies and slander. Women who are separated from their spouses, mothers and fathers who cannot sleep while their children are behind bars are being punished. But enough is enough. This process must end immediately. Ekrem and all the detainees must be tried fairly and without detention. We will never accept injustice and unfairness. Our hearts are clear and our heads are held high.”
Emphasizing that İmamoğlu and his friends have been held in prison unjustly and unlawfully for 100 days, Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu said, “Our nation sees the victimization that has been created. Our nation’s conscience will never accept this injustice. In the end, conscience will win, I believe this with all my heart.”
